Ben Brown Immortal
PRINTS FOR SALE ONLINE
On show will be numbered and signed limited edition prints, plus original works in
ink and paint. The show continues the themes of Bens previous solo show -
‘Kill your Idols’ – which combined celebrity, junk culture, zombies and skulls
in a graphically charged visual extravaganza. These new works pick up
where the previous show left off and the iconic images that are burned in
to our collective cultural psyche are given a new life… albeit as the living dead.
There will be a bonus live performance from rock ‘n’ roll demons Hong Kong,
who have been burning up various floors around town in recent times with
their melodic skuzzball wall of sound.
Opening Night: Friday 10th December 6-9pm.
Come and join us for a Christmas drink! We have loads of new goodies in the shop too, along with all the latest Art Books and Mags.
Exhibition is open from 11th December to 24th January.

Holga Diaries II

Opening night Friday 9 April, 6pm
Exhibition runs until 18 April
aMBUSH Gallery
4A James Street Waterloo
Sydney NSW 2017
The Holga Diaries II is a raw and gritty double take of the urban landscapes and city streets of Europe as viewed by artist Lucia Fischer through the lens of her Holga camera. Captured on vagabond wanderings and travels, this body of work presents a series of hazy and desolate dreamscapes that evoke a sentimentality of times past and whose nostalgic presentation can be best described as hazy, dark and silent.

Once Upon
We are excited to share with you an upcoming exhibition ‘Once Upon‘, which we are proud supporters of.
Feeling disheartened by the “Sydney Art Scene” Renee Anne and Angela D’Alton (of Leeloo) decided to hold the exhibition to celebrate Leeloo’s 2nd birthday, in one of Sydney’s best underground venues supporting struggling artists, aMBUSH gallery. Fast forward a few months, over 100 submissions and a lot of headaches later, Renee and Angela have curated 38 of the finest Australian artists participate in the ‘Once Upon’ exhibition which will no doubt be a highlight on the Sydney art calendar. Including some of Australia’s top emerging talent, amongst newcomers, with a wide variety of styles.
Each artist has been allocated their own fairy tale to interpret, and 30 of the artists will create four original and new artworks to exhibit. Also due to the volume of submissions, there will also be ‘On The Wall’, where a further 8 artists involved will submit one piece to be included.
Opening Night: Thursday November 19th. at aMBUSH gallery from 6pm-9pm.
The show will continue to open daily from Friday to Sunday, and there will be a Leeloo ‘Pop up store’ for the public to have a hands-on look at some of our gorgeous online goodies.
