If you love cameras and photography, and reside in Sydney, you might be interested in getting down to the Sydney Camera Market, held this Sunday, 7th March.
There will be local and interstate dealers, with around 45 tables. With 1,000’s of collectables like Still, video, digital, and (8mm, Super 8 and 16mm ) movie, cameras, lenses, lights, filters, projectors, tripods, stands, screens, books, magazines, film stock , you name it every thing photographic and movie will be there.
Held at the Ultimo Community Centre, 40 WIlliam Henry St, Ultimo.

Finders Keepers have decided to run their very own ‘Finders Keepers featured artist competition’. After having lots of emerging artists approach them with their artwork they have decided it’s time to put together a competition!
Basically they are asking young emerging creative artists to submit 1 x artwork specifically for the Finders Keepers for a chance to gain exposure for their work and be featured.

The Finders Keepers are revving up for the end of year Sydney market. The Sydney Flier has just been released, featuring work by emerging Sydney artist Kevin Tran.
Finders Keepers is an ever growing amazing art and design market that showcases the work of over 60 emerging designers and artists from Sydney local designers to areas all around Australia. With an amazing array of talent and people pouring in from all around Sydney, the Finders Keepers continues to introduce new and exciting both local and Australia wide designers and artists.

This markets theme is Where The Wild Things Are. And from what i have seen with past markets, this is a hugely popular event, and well worthwhile, if you want to get your work out there. Also being around Christmas time, there will be lots of Christmas shoppers.
If your in Sydney and free this Saturday (September 19th) you’ll have to check out the COFA spring fair. COFA will once again open its doors to the public to celebrate art, design and multi media in a multitude of activities in a carnival atmosphere.
A great opportunity to see young emerging talent, grab unique gifts and if your a prospective art student, check out the campus and see what is on offer. Located on the corner of Oxford St and Greens Road in Paddington.
This year the program promises even bigger and brighter events, markets, and entertainment including the fine art and design market, exhibitions, studio tours, food and DJs.

The Finders Keepers market is an independent design and art market founded in Sydney, that supports new and emerging independent design. This year for the first time they are hosting a market in Brisbane. They are now approaching their last week of Application for the Brisbane market. This is their very first Brisbane call out for designers & artists in QLD and abroad.
They are looking for local Brisbane artists and designers and anyone else who would like to make the trek to Brisbane to have an opportunity to expose their talents to an eager Brisbane audience.
